There is always pressure when I’m asked by a couple to shoot their wedding. Then there’s a little bit more when it’s out of state, at a venue I haven’t seen before. But when you add that the couple is family… that’s just a new kind of scary! This is Christina and Darryl’s wedding. And although Darryl is my cousin, Christina is so loveable she pretty much became my cousin the first day I met her.
We drove the back roads in Albany, Louisiana for their wedding. And just when I thought we were lost, there it was among live oaks and livestock… Albany Plantation! I can’t say enough kind things about this venue and the people who own it. It was beautiful. And it has a swing set. I couldn’t resist!
Thank you both for letting me be the one to capture this day. I am so happy to have another cousin to add to our family!
