I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with Shelley! We recently hired her to photograph my daughter’s wedding & reception and I don’t see how the pictures could have turned out any better! Shelley took the time to learn about my daughter’s style and what type of pictures she likes, got lists and examples of “must get” pictures and captured them all flawlessly.
Not only did the pictures turn out better than I could have ever imagined, but her peaceful and calm presence is something that can’t be bought. Now, we have some beautiful memories captured in the photographs that will last a lifetime.
Some details:
My daughter had a small family wedding in a chapel, followed by a larger reception/party later in the day. Because of the gap in time between the wedding & reception, we originally planned to hire a photographer just to get a few pics of the wedding. However, when we met Shelley, we realized that she was very interested in not just snapping a few pics (because anyone can do that, right?) but creating beautiful keepsakes. Thankfully, she talked us into letting her hang out for well over an hour (at no charge) to wait for the reception to start so she could capture the entire day, including the reception. Not only that, but she patiently hung around waiting for it to get dark enough to get a picture with sparklers! She really does care about capturing all of those special moments on your special day!
I wish I could come up with some constructive criticism here, but I just can’t think of anything that I would change!
Whether you are having a wedding with 5 guests or 500 guests, I would highly recommend Shelley Foster Photography. Her prices are very reasonable and the quality would be hard to beat! She is such a joy to be around and our family feels like we have a new friend! Can’t wait to hire her again for another happy occasion.
