Boudoir Photography: What is it worth to you?

February 23, 2015 14 Comments

Boudoir Photography 1

Now that I’ve shamelessly gotten your attention with a ridiculously beautiful woman, I’d like to propose a “social experiment” of sorts.

This experiment is inspired by a spectacular boudoir photographer in New York. For those who have never heard the term boudoir photography, I will tell you exactly what it is. This is portraiture that celebrates everything about being a woman. It’s fearless, sultry, and beautifully feminine. It is also insanely more fun than you anticipate!

Over the years, I’ve had countless women express an interest in having their portraits taken; and I’ve had a blast photographing many of them. This experiment is geared toward those of you who have yet to be photographed.

I’d like to hear from you and find out what makes you hesitant. Is it the money? Are you timid? Do you somehow not think you’re worthy of celebrating what makes you uniquely beautiful?

My Limited Time Offer

I am challenging women who want beautiful portraits to stop hesitating. For 10 lovely ladies, I’d like to do all in my power to eliminate one or all of these blocks.

You name your own price and give me an idea of what you’d like in exchange. Of course I cannot guarantee I’ll be able to do it; but perhaps I can. I would love to at least open the lines of communication.

Do you have to get naked? Certainly not. Together we will find your comfort zone and then perhaps scoot a little beyond it.

Leave a comment below or drop me a line, and please feel free to share this challenge with others. It is an experience that goes beyond beautiful portraiture, and I would love for you to know it.

Have thought about a few times…to do for Jeff but probably more do for me. I love the old pin up style.

That’s the cool thing about this kind of portraiture, Mary. Yes it will be partly for Jeff, but it will VERY MUCH be for you too!

I would LOVE to try Boudoir photos! I’m insanely insecure, so maybe it would help me feel a bit more comfortable in my own skin. Do you already have 10 ladies lined up??
    Thanks!

I still have plenty of spots Mona! Most of us are insanely insecure… my favorite thing about shooting boudoir is watching a woman go from timid to fearless in less than 30 minutes. :) We have soooo much fun!

    Shelley,
I’ve always wanted to do this but I’m so shy in front of the camera and uncomfortable with my body. I’d love to do a shoot to feel confident and beautiful.

You and I have already worked together, which gives you a distinct advantage. As I recall, those photos were even better than you’d anticipated! I’d love to give you that kind of experience yet again. :) Email me!

Always wanted to do one, just would want to work off a bit of the after wedding/ honeymoon/ winter weight before shooting, I think it would be fun, definitely nerve wrecking to commit to it!

It’s me, Kristina… it will NOT be nerve wrecking. Haha! I’ve seen you pretty recently, and though I cannot see any reason you’d need to work anything off, I will be patient. You know where to find me. Let me shoot you. Again. ;)

Gabby!!! I had so much fun doing your shoot… I’ll never forget you were eating Raising Canes when I got there & you STILL had a 6-pack. Haha! But my favorite memory was your hubby pulling me aside at your wedding to tell me how much he LOVED his book. :)

    Shelley!
I would love to do this! Are there still spots available? I am not the most secure in my own skin and I think this would be an awesome way to get over those insecurities.
